Anne van den Heuvel studied cello at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague with Monique Bartels and attended classes with the Israeli cellist Ran Varon at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam. There she graduated as a cello teacher. She continued at the Messiaen Academie in Zwolle, where she graduated as a performing musician. Anne attended masterclasses from Godfried Hoogeveen, ?the Daniël Kwartet? and Uzi Wiesel, with whom she studied at the Rubin Academy in Tel Aviv in 1997 and 1998. She also attended classes from Dmitri Ferschtman, Zvi Maskovsky, Hillel Zori and Floris Mijders. At the moment Anne plays in several ensembles for contamporary music, including the ?Insomnio Ensemble? and the ?Bart Lelivelt Ensemble?. Since 1998 she is also part of the chamber orchestra ?Musica Ducis Brabantiae? and she plays for the dance company the ?Nederlands Euritmie Ensemble? in The Hague.
